We proudly welcome HE. Dr. Shaika Rana Bint Isa Bin Duaij Al Khalifa as the newly appointed Director General of the Institute of Public Administration (IPA) in Bahrain. Established in 2006 by the decree of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, IPA is dedicated to achieving sustainable development in alignment with the Constitution of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the National Action Charter.
IPA plays a pivotal role in enhancing government performance, focusing on policies, strategies, resource management, change management, and the development of government services. Dr. Sh. Rana Bint Isa Bin Duaj Al Khalifa's leadership will undoubtedly contribute to advancing the Institute's vision of developed government performance for sustainable improvement.

The International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) actively participated in the 24th session of the United Nations Committee of Experts on Public Administration (CEPA), held in New York from 7 to 11 April 2025. The International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) and the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA) deeply mourn the passing of Dr. Blue Wooldridge, a revered scholar, educator, and lifelong advocate of diversity, equity, and excellence in public administration.
